Poker News BoyEvery Thursday PokerNewsBoy.com brings you the latest gossip, debates, and disputes from the world of Poker Blogs, Forums, Editorials, and Social Media in what we are calling The Poker Buzz. If it’s an interesting story or idea you’ll find it here every Thursday.

ChrisMoorman.com launches

Today could be the day that Chris Moorman tops the $10 million mark in career online tournament winnings, but whether he achieves that milestone or not it WILL be the day that marks the launch of ChrisMoorman.com. You can check out the website at http://chrismoorman.com/

Did ESPN Ruin Poker?

That is the question being asked by writer Argun M. Ulgen in an article that appeared in Salon.com this week. While I don’t agree with some of his specific points, his point of view is not without merit.

Mike Matusow Is NOT a Fan of Slowrolling

I’m not sure if Poker Night in America is going to catch on, but what I do know is that the following clip of Shaun Deeb slowrolling Mike Matusow will live on in “Tony G vs. Ralph Perry” and “Idiots from Northern Europe” fame.

Dwan’s Big Loss

When Tom Dwan tweets about a loss you can bet it was a substantial sum of money; when Tom Dwan tweets that he just suffered his biggest lost ever, the figure is likely to be staggering, considering he once lost about $2 million in a session with Viktor Blom.

There is no word on how much was lost, or exactly where (the smart money is on the big games in Macau though) but the following tweet is a demonstration of just how bad your day can be in poker:

Blom’s Variance

Speaking of Viktor Blom; the online phenom had seemingly resolved his variance issues this year, consistently winning at Full Tilt Poker, banking about $5 million in the process. However, over the past month or so the wheels have once again come off for the man best known as “isildur1” and he is now barely above break-even for the year according to the website highstakesdb.com.

Robert Williamson III Suing a Real Housewife of Orange County

Vicki’s Vodka is apparently not very smooth, and it definitely isn’t sweet considering the bitter allegations being reported by the Herald Online. According to the article, poker player Robert Williamson III got involved in the vodka company and is now suing Real Housewives of Orange County Vicki Gunvalson, claiming he has a controlling interest in the company.

The article reads like something out of TV reality show… oh, wait a minute…
