WSOPE High Roller Event In The Czech Republic Attracting Top Poke

King’s Casino in Rozvodov, Czech Republic has the reputation for having the biggest poker room in Europe and is known for hosting some of the top poker tournaments in Europe. King’s Casino will play host to the 2017 World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) which will take place from Oct19 to Nov 10.

Three Weeks Of Exciting Action

This poker festival which runs for over 3 weeks will see top poker players from all over the world in attendance as there are 11 WSOP gold bracelet events to be won and the €10,350 WSOPE Main Event which comes with €5 million in guaranteed prize money. The Main Event will take place from November 4 to 10.

There will be a number of exciting events spread across these three weeks and some of them include the No-Limit Hold’em Monster Stack which takes place on Oct 19 and has a buy-in of €1,100 with €500,000 in guaranteed prize money;The Colossus No-Limit Hold’em which takes place on October 27 and has a €550 buy-in and over €2,000,000 in guaranteed prize money and the Little One for One Drop No-Limit Hold’em which takes place on Nov 1 and has a €1,100 buy-in with €500,000 in guaranteed prize money. There will also be a number of cash games taking place during the three week poker festival.

WSOPE High Roller for One Drop

The Main Event is usually the star attraction at poker tournaments but at the 2017 WSOPE, the €111,000 WSOPE High Roller for One Drop event will be the star event. This high-roller event has a €10 million guarantee, which is double of what the Main Event guarantees and will run from Nov 3 to 5. The event limits the number of players to 111 and top poker players such as Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Hellmuth, Patrik Antonius, Tony G, Gus Hansen, Fedor Holz and Liv Boeree have already signed up.

Kings Casino owner Leon Tsoukernik was also interested in playing the High Roller for One Drop event but decided to give up his seat as the demand for the event was extremely high. Tsoukernik decided to be a good host and will donate his €11,000 deposit to the One Drop Foundation. The high roller event will donate its €11,111 rake minus taxes from each players initial buy-in to the One Drop Foundation.

The High Roller for One Drop event will see players starting out with two million in chips and blinds increasing every hour. Players will have the option of late registering or re-entering as many times as they want till teach reach the end of Level 12 or Day 2’s third blind level.

The last High Roller for One Drop event took place in Las Vegas during the summer and saw 130 players take part. Doug Polk was the eventual winner and took home $3,686,865. The winner of the WSOPE High Roller event will also walk away with more than a million in prize money.
