Full Tilt Poker Droid App already pulled
Earlier today the website droid-life.com publicized that the Full Tilt Poker App for Android phones was no longer available for download, and searches at the Droid Market, or App Brain for the Full Tilt Poker Rush Poker come back with no results.
The author did state that he was able to use his already downloaded version with no problems, so this would seem to only affect people who have yet to download the Full Tilt poker software at this point.
At this point it’s still unknown what caused Android to pull the App from its store, although the most likely reason would center on the fact that the App was a real-money online poker game, which still falls into a gray area legality-wise in the United States. Another culprit could be the quality of the download itself, but most people have been willing to deal without all of the bells and whistles available in order to play on their mobile phone.
The website claims it has reached out to Full Tilt Poker for a response/clarification on the matter, but the has yet to respond –not surprising to Full Tilt Poker users who have ever had to deal with their customer service team!
Stay tuned as more details emerge on this breaking story.
