With big name after big name falling on Day 2 of the $1,500 No Limit Holdem tournament at the 2011 World Series of Poker, there was one well-known player who managed to not only survive the day, but thrive as he climbed to the top of the leader-board, Jordan “jymaster11” Young.

With just 34 of the 3,157 original entries remaining in the tournament Young holds a commanding chip-lead as the only player to top the 1 million chip mark. The only other recognizable name remaining is Tristan Wade –currently in 4th place on the leader-board—but thanks to online poker you really can never be sure who anyone on the field is, or how proficient they are in poker!

Jordan ‘jymaster11’ Young is one of the most proficient tournament online poker players, and is a perennial leader on many Player of the Year leader-boards. Having just made the move to live poker in late 2010, Young already has a WPT cash on his resume, as well as a cash in the earlier $1k NLHE tournament at the 2011 WSOP, where h finished in 19th place, cashing for $18,575.

Here is a look at the top 10 chip-counts heading into Day 3 of the tournament –which has a good chance of falling victim to the Hard-Stop Rule:

1. Jordan Young – 1,100,000

2. Foster Hays – 875,000

3. Stanley Tavanese – 779,000

4. Tristan Wade – 555,000

5. Jeffrey Lavelle – 550,000

7. William Douglas Smith – 517,000

8. Bryan Barrile – 485,000

9. Kyle White – 475,000

10. Shoaib Makani – 470,000
