Despite not having the NAPT logo attached to the tournament the tournament series that was supposed to be the PokerStars.net NAPT Los Angeles event will still host a $10,000 Bounty Shootout tournament as was originally scheduled before losing PokerStars –and therefore the NAPT brand—as an official sponsor.

The first round of the Bounty Shootout will be held in two flights: the first 36 players will play on Thursday, while the second flight will take place on Friday to allow the final table participants of the Main Event to take part.

Flight 1 will feature such notable names as Jose “Nacho” Barbero, Bill Chen, Scott Clements, Shaun Deeb, Jonathan Duhamel, Bertrand “ElkY” Grosspellier, Orel Hershisier, Faraz “The Toilet” Jaka, Kathy Liebert, Chris Moneymaker, William Reynolds, Scott Seiver, Vladimir Shchemelev, Jennifer Tilly, and David Williams.

Flight 2’s cast of characters will include Matt Affleck, Daniel Alaei, Chad Brown, Olivier Busquet, Chau Giang, Barry Greenstein, John Hennigan, Allen Kessler, Tom Marchese, Jason Mercier, Daniel Negreanu, Dennis Phillips, Viktor Ramdin, Vanessa Rousso, Justin “Boosted J” Smith, and Sam Stein.

The winner of each Round 1 table will receive $40,000, while the winner of the tournament will receive an additional $171,700. Each knockout in the first round will net a player $2,000, while final table knockouts are worth $10,000 each.

*This is based on 81 players, and it appears there will be 76 players, so the numbers may be adjusted down slightly.*
