There is still a lot of poker player to be played at the World Poker Tour’s current stop in Atlantic City, but with 173 players remaining it’s a player we haven’t heard from in quite some time topping the leader-board, John D’Agostino.

D’Agostino leads the Borgata Poker Open with 681k chips, giving him a slim lead over Giuseppe Pantaleo and his 668k chips. Amazingly both players will be seated at the same table when play resumes for Day 4 of the tournament!

However, the real talk of the tournament was two near altercations; one between poker pros Matt Stout and Al Bari, which ended with Stout receiving a orbit penalty for swearing –Stout Tweeted the following on the incident: “Left my headphones in the car and Al Bari is sitting on my right. Related story: finally told him what I (and most players) think of him.” Followed by: “Dub’d KQ thru Al Bari’s AK. Then he berated me. Tried to explain to new guy that he was a POS. Al Bari called floor n got a 1 orbit penalty on me bc he’s an impetulent child and I’m not, so I don’t call floor when he curses @ me.”

An even zanier incident occurred when a female railbird got into a heated confrontation with two different players. The incident occurred after an overly-giddy celebration which led to words between Steve Buckner –the winner—and Larry Wolf, at which point the female stepped in to defend one of the players, Steve Buckner. Unfortunately she decided to ask an odd question to Wolf, “Are you Jewish?” which brought about the ire of yet another player at the table, Jeremy Schwartz. The floor finally intervened and the situation was diffused.

It should be an interesting Day 4 in AC!
