The Irish Poker Awards are a competition set up to honour some of the poker greats of our present time and best of all, they are completely determined by the votes of the public, people just like you.

The award ceremony will be taking place at the Regency Hotel in Dublin on 17th October 2010 and with the thousands of players who were put forward for the awards, the final shortlist has been created and our very own Stevie made the final cut.

The final runners in the competition were sifted through by a high profile committee which was made up of representatives of BoylePoker.com, PokerNews.com, PokerIreland.ie, d4events.com and Bluff Europe.

Now all we need to do is to make sure that we do our bit to help him bring the title home.

Stevie is one of the PokerNewsBoy owners but he is better known for his success at the online poker tables, banking nearly $2,000,000 in online poker tournament winnings.

Stevie is well known within the online poker industry and currently represents Lock Poker as a professional player, moving from his tournament poker roots to spend more time at the real money ring tables.
