As the 2018 World Series of Poker, partypoker made an announcement of their new addition to their roster. Ludovic Geilich from Scotland will be joining the ranks of Jason Koon, Fedor Holz and Ike Haxton. Geilich is a pro poker player and ranks third in his country’s all-time money list with more than $2.2 million in live earnings.

The 30 year old is excited in being part of this kind of talent and he says that this new appointment will make him work harder as a player to fit in the team as he keeps getting stronger by the day. This new appointment became appealing to him bearing in mind that he will be part of a vibrant team. In the team he will also be joining his friend Roberto ‘The Welsh Wizard’ Romanello.

This decision was a no brainer for him since partypoker is doing a lot for the community. He says that he has been part of the Dusk till Dawn poker club for five years and he has enjoyed himself every time he goes back. The fact that they have been having a lot of partypoker Live events is the reason he has made it on board with them in one way or another. Geilich who is a renowned pot limit Omaha player is looking forward to bringing his expertise to partypoker.

He believes that his appointment puts him in the ranks of players he looks up to like Ike Haxton and Phil Galfond but he still acknowledges that he is not completely in their ranks social media wise. He believes in himself and knows that he has what it takes to be part of such a team since he has learnt a lot in the period that he has been playing poker professionally. He pointed out that he looks forward to sitting down and being part of the team that introduces ante to the PLO. He might also be part of the team that discusses the PartyPoker bonus and other products regarding the poker game on the platform.

When we look at some of Geilich’s accomplishments, we will learn that he has an impressive tournament resume. This includes his win of $313,482 after he finished fourth in the EPT10 London Main Event. He was also second in the 2017 PokerStars National Championship Prague for $216,920. He won the 2016 Wynn Poker classic where he walked home with $150,662. He pointed out that these are not his proudest moments in the game.

He says that his proudest moment is when he won his first major tourney in the ESPT Marbella €1k for $171,789. This is after he beat close to 1000 players. Geilich says that his second moment was when he won the €1,100 event at the partypoker millions grand final Barcelona for $306,421. This is up there since he loved the time when he partnered with them and this drove him to win an event at one of the festivals.

Geilich will be in the Partypoker LVE Caribbean Poker Party. During this time he plans to visit Sochi, Russia for his first time ever. He says that this is a great opportunity and that the guarantees are not too bad in the LIVE events.
