One of the top independent online poker rooms in the world, PKR Poker, has announced that it will be signing one of “the best poker players in the world” to its Team PKR Pro roster, according to a press release issued on Friday.

PKR Poker is one of the industry leaders in online poker software (as well as 3D Casino Games), and has won multiple awards over the past few years for their revolutionary 3-D software (the site also added a simpler 2-D version in 2011) and in their five-year existence has signed some of the top European players to their Team PKR Pro roster.

The current Team PKR Pro roster features some of poker’s top young talent, most noticeably Vladimir “Beyne” Geshkenbein who followed up his EPT victory earlier this year with a super-deep run in the 2011 WSOP Main Event. Geshkenbein is joined by WSOP bracelet holder Scott “PKR_Scott” Shelley, the lone female on the PKR squad Sofia ‘welllbet’ Lovgren, UK pro James ‘james666’ Sudworth, German Sascha ‘locodice’ Walter and Frenchman Marc ‘Waswini’ Bariller, a former freeroll player turned poker pro.

Former high-profile members of Team PKR Poker Pro include Andrew ‘golfpro699’ Teng and recent WPT Amneville winner Adrien ‘zlatan35’ Allain, who got his start playing at PKR Poker.

Judging by PKR’s current roster, which features players from across Europe, my guess is that the site may be looking at a certain WSOP finalist, perhaps Martin Staszko???
