About the Poker Maximus tournament series

The Poker Maximus tournament series will run from March 4th to March 25th, 2012, and is the first major tournament series held by the Merge Gaming Network. Overall the tournament series will feature 70 tournaments, with $1.5 million in guaranteed money on the line. Buy-ins for the Poker Maximus tournaments starts at a mere $1 and go up to the SuperStack event which features a buy-in of $530.

The Poker Maximus series will kick-off with $10 NKHE tournament on March 4, featuring a $7,500 guaranteed prize-pool, followed by a $109 buy-in tournament with a massive $150,000 guaranteed prize-pool. The series will come to a close with a full schedule of events on the final day (March 25) that includes the $109 Main Event and the $530 SuperStack event, as well as two other tournaments a $215 Maximus High-Roller tournament, and an $11 Mini-Main Event.

The Poker Maximus tournament series will also award a Player of the Series award, with the top three finishers on the Poker Maximus Player of the Series Leader-Board receiving special prizes.
