Celina Lin wins fourth career Macau Cup tournament

Team PokerStars Pro Celina Lin definitely has a favorite tournament series, and it’s the Macau Cup. Lin is a two-time Rd Dragon winner, and this year she picked-up her fourth overall win in Macau Cup tournaments.

Tom Alner wins 2013 Macau Cup Red Dragon tournament

645 players registered for the Macau Cup Red Dragon Main Event, hoping for a six-figure payday and the chance to take home the coolest trophy in poker. In the end it was UK poker player Tom Alner who came out on top after a four-way deal that saw a completely inverted payout as the most money went 4th place, followed by 3rd place, then 2nd place, and finally the actual winner! Alner did receive an extra prize of a HK$100k ACOP entry for winning.

Adam Foster wins Empire State Poker Championship

426 players registered for the $1,650 Main Event at the Empire State Poker Championship at the Turning Stone Casino, and with Poker Night in America filming their inaugural episode there were some pretty big names in attendance. Despite there being three well-known poker players at the final table –Matt Glantz, Will Failla, and Darvin Moon– it was NY resident Adam Foster who would take the top honors, collecting the biggest payday of his poker career.
