PokerStars created a new Daily Freeroll (Free to enter) with $500 in prizes every tournament.  These are the NAPL Nightly $500 Freerolls, which are only open to players in the USA and Canada.  The $500 Freerolls are nightly at 8:00pm (20:00) EST.  You can register 1 hour prior to the freerolls and there is a maximum of 10,000 seats available.

The NAPL is the North American Poker League which is a regional online poker league put on exclusively by PokerStars.  The NAPL awards $4,500 in weekly cash prizes.

The $500 prize pool is not cash though; it is made up of NAPL tournament entries (which are for cash).  Every night the top 1,036 places of the freeroll, will win a ticket.
