In a recent press release the World Poker Tour has announced its search for an “Average Joe” type personality to host a new segment on the broadcast known as ‘The Raw Deal’. The job description is as follows:

“If you’re opinionated, fearless, watch and play hours of poker, and find yourself offering brilliant insight from the comfort of your couch, it’s time for you to take a new seat – right next to WPT stars Mike Sexton, Vince Van Patten, and Kimberly Lansing. Plus, get your chance to share the screen with the stunning WPT Royal Flush Girls.”

Sounds like a pretty appealing gig to me!

There is an open audition at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles on August 19th from 11Am to 8PM, or hopefuls can make their way to the WPT website and submit a 45 second commentary complete with opinions on a hand of poker between Phil Hellmuth and Andy Seth. The video should include comments about the hand and the obviously also on the Phil Hellmuth explosion that follows.

Casting is only open to adults over the age of 21, and opinionated and outspoken are two of the skills they are looking for!
