Professional poker player Annie Duke is well known for offering her support to a number of charities, organising poker games and tournaments with a share of the proceedings going to one of a number of charities that the star supports.

Once again Duke has made a stand in her fund raising attempts and has created another poker tournament which will raise funds for After-School All-Stars, a charity that offers support to children who are considered to be at risk, backed by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The tournament will take place tomorrow and will start at 6:30pm EST, featuring a $250 buy in fee with the allowance of re-buys into the tournament set to $100 for regular poker players and a reduced $75 for non poker players.

With a players list expected to feature a number of high level celebrities, Duke has made a move to further increase the participation figures by offering a World Series of Poker seat in the upcoming tournament series worth $10,000.

The seat will see you being paid into the World Series of Poker Main Event, giving you the opportunity to make a name for yourself while still having the thrill of rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest names on the poker circuit.

Registration for the tournament opens at 6:30pm at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles so if you want to get involved and help to support the fund raising, get yourself down and mix with some of the biggest names in Los Angeles, including film stars and top level models.

By the way just got word on a great VCPoker Deal for players, so you should also check that out.
