Poker player Jason Ho has come under fire recently on several fronts; accused of everything from misrepresenting his winnings to scamming people in a phony investment scheme.

Rumors started to swirl on the StoxPoker forums where many players were complaining about Ho –an instructor on the site—and questioning his credentials. At the forefront of the mess is Ho’s assertion that he won $1 million in 2008 playing online poker; a claim he has never been able to prove.

The situation soon devolved into a number of allegations, many of which are far worse than fudging your earnings. On his CardPlayer blog former StoxPoker lead instructor Dusty “LeatherAss9” Schmidt called Ho “a mediocre player”, and said he “couldn’t believe some of the plays he was advocating”. Ho has since been removed from the popular online poker training site’s roster of instructors.

Others in the poker world have accused Ho of breach of contract and not living up to his end of their coaching agreements, as well as rumors of Ho taking investors money for a poker related project which may have been nothing more than a cash-grab scheme.
