Lock Poker adds two more poker pros

It seems like every week I’m writing an article on some new poker pro that is now representing Lock Poker, so I was very happy to see that this would not be the case this week: Instead Lock Poker signed not one but two more poker pros to their roster of team LockPRO Elite players!

Already having signed Belgian phenom Kevin Vandersmissen, former Full Tilt Poker Red Pro Melanie Weisner, Spanish star Leo Margets, and Portuguese poker pro Pedro Maia in 2012 –not to mention the plethora of signings in 2011 including poker superstars Chris Moorman—Lock Poker announced the addition of Tim West and Jason Lee to the site.

West burst onto the poker scene in March of 2011 when he won the 2011 Wynn Poker Classic and finished runner-up in the WSOP Circuit Series Regional Championship in San Diego, pocketing nearly $500k between the two scores. All told, West has over $1.6 million in career tournament earnings.

Lee is an online legend, with over $3 million in career winnings, as well as having some $400k in live tournament winnings to his credit. You can also find Lee teaching at Deepstacks Live events around the country.

The news first came to light on Lock Poker pro Matt Stout’s website, Stoutpoker.com, with Matt officially welcoming the pair to the ranks of LockPRO Elite, and later an official press release was issued by Lock Poker.

All of the principles offered their thoughts on the new signings, including West and Lee, as well as Lock Poker CEO Jennifer Larson, and Randy Kasper, the co-founder of PPI which represents West and a number of other poker pros.

“Tim and Jason are both great players and great people! I am very happy to welcome them,” says Jennifer Larson CEO of Lock Poker. “The goal is to create a global family that is diverse in skill, passion, poker and life. The initial vision I had for Lock is becoming a reality. Our partnership with the player gets stronger every day!”

“I wish I could put into words just how excited I am to be joining the Lock Poker team,” says Jason Lee. “I’m eager to be surrounded by such an elite team of poker professionals and a staff whose primary goal is not just player satisfaction but meeting and exceeding player’s every need and want. Lock truly is the best gaming site on the net and I look forward to growing with them in the future.”

“I am very excited to join the Lock Poker team,” says Tim. “It is an honour to be alongside the likes of Chris Moorman, Matt Stout, Jason Young and Melanie Weisner. I am very excited to see what the future has in store.”

“Jennifer Larson continues to assemble the most impressive online poker team in the World,” commented Randy Kasper, Co-Founder/Agency Leader at Poker Players International, which represents Tim West. “While PPI maintains it’s stance not to accept fees from U.S. players for online pro deals until the law settles, we are always happy for our clients when they reach such important milestones in their careers. Jennifer has created a wonderful situation for all her pros and her passion is why Lock is turning all heads in the poker industry. Tim, and Jason for that matter, are the most recent examples validating Larson’s incredible vision she has for her business.”

As the flagship poker site of the largest US-friendly online poker network, The Merge Gaming Network, Lock Poker is at the forefront of the US online poker market. Boasting a roster of US and international pros, Lock Poker is quickly becoming the #1 alternative to PokerStars for poker players to find a sponsorship deal. Another popular room on the Merge Gaming Network is Carbon Poker, which is offering a special Carbon Poker Bonus at this time.
