A total of 422 players showed up on Thursday with $2,500 in hand to take part in the PokerStars.net Punte Del Este Main Event in Brazil, and amongst the entrants were notable names like Jose “Nacho” Barbero (last year’s Punte Del Este winner), Greg Debora, Angel Guillen and Leo Fernandez.

After three days of play the final table for the tournament is now set and it’s an all South American affair, including four Brazilians. On top of the leader-board is Uruguayan Alex Komalomi who will be taking a huge chip-lead into today’s final table action. Komalomi is sitting on an impressive 2.9 million chip stack, with his nearest competitor, Engelberth Valera of Venezuela, the only other player over 1 million chips, with 1.8 million.

On the line for the remaining eight players is a nearly $250k first-prize, with the runner-up receiving around $150k: A big difference from the $18k the 8th place finisher will receive!

Here is a look at the final table seating assignments and chip counts:

* Seat 1: Rafael Monteiro — 810,000

* Seat 2: Felipe Pasini — 345,000

* Seat 3: Nelson Trad Neto — 405,000
