Partouche Poker Tour final table to be decided today

When Day 4 of the Partouche Poker Tour Main Event came to a close there were just two tables of poker players left bagging up their chips, but amidst those 18 players are some very high-profile names including one of the UK’s best in Sam Trickett (just over 500k in chips) and recent WPT Legends of Poker winner Will Failla (who we first noticed was still alive on Day 3, after being overlooked since the PPT used his given name of Emanuel in their chip reports).

Saturday’s action will see the remaining field cut in half before the Partouche Poker Tour Main Event takes a 6-month break, WSOP-style. The final table will be played on September 12 and 13, 2011; just after the WSOP Main Event final table concludes in Las Vegas.

Some other big names still in the hunt for the €1 million first-place prize include one of the four 2011 WSOP bracelet winners from the Ukraine in Oleksii Kovalchuk, Ludovic Lacay (with around 360k in chips), the unsung tournament pro Juha Helpi (also with around 360k in chips), and the vastly underrated Roger Hairabedian.

Here is a look at the Top 10 chip counts heading into Day 5 of the 2011 Partouche Poker Tour Main Event:

1. Kanita Mustapha – 2,357,000

2. Alexandre Coussy – 2,136,000

3. Roger Hairabedian – 1,826,000

4. Oleksii Kovalchuk – 1,608,000

5. Ilan Boujenah – 1,542,000

6. Mads Wissing – 1,400,000

7. Matthew Tyler – 1,073,000

8. Kamel Chhit – 806,000

9. Will Failla – 775,000

10. Fouad Behbehani – 624,000
