The final surge for the 2012 Player of the Year races is underway as the 2012 poker tournament schedule starts to wind down, and over the past week or so there have been a number of tournaments taking place all over the globe. In addition to the WPT events in Jacksonville and Copenhagen that we detailed yesterday there was also action in Las Vegas as the Heartland Poker Tour was in town; the APPT made a stop in Macau recently, and the Masters Classic of Poker was taking place in Holland. In addition to all of this the WSOP released the dates for the 2013 WSOP tournament series.
