Poker After Dark’s Leeann Tweeden poses for Playboy

Leeann Tweeden has been a longtime figure on the sports’ scene and in recent years the former correspondent for the Best Damn Sports Show Period has been a major part of the poker scene; hosting numerous televised poker shows including Poker After Dark (which she began hosting in 2008) and the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship. Tweeden has appeared on just about every men’s magazine cover including FHM,and was also voted the Top Hooters Girl of All-Time –which carries a hell of a lot more weight than anything that has to do with poker!

Now Tweeden, who is remarkably 38 years-old (didn’t see that coming!!!) is gracing the cover of Playboy Magazine, and dishing on the poker players she has been covering over the past few years. In one exchange Tweeden told Playboy:

“A lot of the poker players are math whizzes, MIT grads with multiple doctorates… They’re brilliant, and they’re cool people, but a lot of them are not socialized. They spend their time online.” So when she interviews the players, she says, the reaction is often hormone-induced paralysis: “Ooohhh, pretty girl.”

The issue comes out on Friday November, 11, 2011, although if you don’t want the physical evidence lying around your house you can check out the pics online at Playboy.com or by using The Google. The issue is titled “Queen of Hearts, Leeann Tweeden, Poker’s Biggest Draw Undressed.”
