The unofficial first-stop on the NAPT was the 2010 PCA –which combines all of the PokerStars.net poker tours worldwide, and has turned into one of the most prestigious poker tournaments in the world. Season 1 of the NAPT officially began at the Venetian in February, with 872 players entering the tournament –The NAPT Venetian was won by Card Player Magazine Player of the Year leader Tom Marchese. This was followed by the 716 players who registered for the NAPT Mohegan Sun Main Event in April – The NAPT Mohegan Sun title was captured by Vanessa Selbst.
