PokerStars has been all over the headlines over the past week for a variety of reasons, but it was Full Tilt Poker and one of their newest sponsored players that were involved in perhaps the biggest story of the week.

PokerStars 50 Billionth Hand Promotion: With over $1 million in cash and prizes set to be awarded between now and the dealing of PokerStars 50 billionth hand of online poker, the world’s largest online poker room has been the talk of the town this week. PokerStars overhauls their software: Besides the announcement of the 50 Billionth Hand Promotion, PokerStars also underwent a major software upgrade this past week. Full Tilt Poker and Mike “The Grinder Mizrachi sued: Deliverance Poker filed suit against Mike Mizrachi and Full Tilt Poker claiming Mizrachi was in violation of the contract he had signed with the site by wearing the Full Tilt Poker logo during the WSOP Main Event. The suit further alleges that Full Tilt Poker knowingly caused “The Grinder” to breach his contract. To read the entire story click [here].
