Alessio Isaia leads WPT Vienna final table

It’s been an incredible 2011 already for Italian Poker Pro Alessio Isaia with a chop in the FTOPS XIX High-Roller Heads-Up tournament with Scott Clements giving him a $285,500 payday; this coming on the heels of a WPT Venice win just a week before he won €380,000; and just a few days after the FTOPS score Isaia managed a second place finish in the Italian Poker Tour Malta Main Event worth a further €80,000!

Now Isaia finds himself at the final table of the inaugural WPT Vienna tournament, with a chance at the nearly €450,000 in first-place prize-money, not to mention the chance to book his second WPT win in as many months!

A total of 555 players turned out for the WPT’s first tournament in Vienna, Austria, which was likely helped by the EPT Snowfest in Vienna having wrapped up just days before. The WPT Vienna Main Event sported a modest €3,500 buy-in, which has been the standard rate for new WPT tournaments.

Here is a look at the Final Table Chip Counts for the WPT Vienna Main Event:

1.    Dmitry Gromov — 5,325,000
2.    Simon Ravnsbaek — 3,265 000
3.    Maksim Kolosov — 1,870,000
4.    Mario Adinolfi — 1,620,000
5.    Maximilian Noll — 1,360,000
6.    Alessio Isaia — 1,320,000
7.    Markus Jenisch — 980,000
8.    Valentin Stroiescu — 925,000

The final table will begin at 1PM local time (CET) with a live stream available at PartyPoker.com beginning at 1:30PM.
