Going into the final table of the €5,300 buy-in PLO tournament at the World Series of Poker Europe the talk of the tournament was Sam Trickett, as the young UK star sought yet another big score, as well as his first WSOP bracelet. Trickett entered Wednesday’s final table as the chip-leader, but was surrounded by a very talented group of players all intent on not witnessing Trickett raise his hands in victory.

Trickett would find the final day much harder than the previous two, and would eventually bow out in 4th place, leaving Ramzi Jelassi, Michele Di Lauro, and Steve Billirakis to battle for the coveted title and the €238k first-place prize-money.

In the end it would be Billirakis who would go on to win the tournament as the young American took home his second career WSOP bracelet; the first coming in 2007 in the $5k Mixed Holdem World Championship, becoming the youngest WSOP bracelet winner in the process. Overall, Billirakis has collected nearly $2.5 million in tournament winnings, and with two WSOP bracelets has to be one of the most underrated poker players.

Here is a look at the final table payouts from Event #3 at the 2011 World Series of Poker Europe:

1. Steve Billirakis — €238,140

2. Michele Di Lauro — €147,171
