Canadians off to a fast start at the 2013 WSOP

wsop bracelet2In just eight tournaments Canada has already produced three WSOP bracelet winners at the 2013 World Series of Poker. The latest Canadian to join the ranks of WSOP bracelet holders was Michael Malm, who won the $2,500 8-Game Mix tournament at the WSOP. Malm joins his countrymen Charles Sylvestre and Benny Chen as 2013 WSOP bracelet winners.

Canada has now won 36 bracelets (with 31 individual bracelet winners), both of which are somewhat surprisingly the second most by any country. The all-time Canadian bracelet leader is Daniel Negreanu, with a total of five WSOP bracelets. The only other Canadian with multiple bracelets is Greg “FTB” Mueller.
