You would be hard pressed to find a name you don’t recognize amongst the 21 players remaining in the $10k No Limit Holdem 6-Max Championship at the 2011 World Series of Poker –and the ones you don’t know are likely because the player is an online legend. Topping the leader-board are Mike Sowers, Bertrand “ElkY” Grosspellier, Chris Moorman, and Taylor Paur, and lurking a little farther down are names like William Thorson, David Benefield, Jeremy Menard, Lee Markholt, Tristan Wade, Ben Lamb, and Russell Carson.

There is also the possibility that the tournament may produce the first double-bracelet winner of the 2011 WSOP as ElkY and Ben Lamb (who also has a runner-up finish on his 2011 resume) are both in excellent position to capture their second bracelet of the 2011 series.

Another player to watch is the online legend Chris “Moorman1” Moorman, who is in search of his first WSOP bracelet, and will be cashing for the fifth time in the 2011 WSOP –he also cashed five times in the 2010 WSOP.

Here is a look at the top 10 chip counts amongst the remaining 21 players in the $10k NLHE 6-Max Championship:

1. Mike Sowers – 1,468,000

2. Chris Moorman – 1,458,000

3. Bertrand Grospellier – 1,409,000

4. Taylor Paur – 1,000,500

7. Greg Dyer – 709,000

8. William Thorson – 674,000

9. Christopher DeMaci – 639,000

10. David Benefield – 622,000
