Now that the $1,500 No Limit Holdem Shootout tournament is down to 16 players –after two rounds of play—the format will switch to what amounts to a 16 player tournament, with each player beginning with the same chip-stack (450,000).

Amongst the remaining players who managed to win their first round table, and then their second round table draw (which of course was filled with Round 1 winners) are Vitaly Lunkin, Lars Bonding, David “The Dragon” Pham, Andrew Pantling, 2010 WSOP POY Frank Kasella, Eric Cajelais, and Dan Kelly.

On the line for the remaining players are the WSOP bracelet as well as the $369,371 that will go to the winner of the event, with the remaining players guaranteed at least $13,238 should they be eliminated in 16th place on Friday.
