2010 wsopWhen day 4 of the $50k Players Championship got underway at the 2010 World Series of Poker it was Mike “The Grinder” Mizrachi leading the field of 21 players, with his brother Robert in 6th place. When play concluded on Monday the roles had basically flip-flopped; Robert was now at the top of the leader-board, and Mike was sitting in 5th place heading into the final table.

The stacked final table features not only the Mizrachi brothers –a storyline ESPN must be ecstatic over—but also poker superstar John Juanda who is looking for his 5th WSOP bracelet, not to mention the win would leapfrog him up to 5th place on the all-time money list just a few thousand short of Phil Hellmuth’s $11.3 million.

The final 8 players and their chip counts are as follows:

1. Robert Mizrachi –3.125 million chips
2. David Baker – 3.095 million chips
3. John Juanda – 2.62 million chips
4. Michael Thuritz – 2.3 million chips
5. Michael Mizrachi – 2.175 million chips
6. Vladimir Schmelev – 1.925 million chips
7. Daniel Alaei – 1.705 million chips
8. David Oppenheim – 460,000 chips

The tournament which has been played as an 8-game mix will now switch to No Limit Holdem for the entire final table.
