Negreanu speaks frankly about Full Tilt Poker

On the same day that Barry Greenstein and Doyle Brunson came out in defense of Howard Lederer and Chris Ferguson, another high-profile poker player was blasting the decision-makers at Full Tilt poker, specifically Howard Lederer and Ray Bitar.

The website PokerAkedemia.com was able to get Daniel Negreanu to answer a few questions while in Budapest, Hungary, and in true Negreanu fashion, he didn’t pull any punches, unloading on one of the most contentious poker news topics. At one point in the interview Negreanu referred to Full Tilt Poker management, naming Lederer and Bitar specifically, as “buffoons and arrogant idiots,” Negreanu would continue on, saying, “they deserved all of the venom they are getting plus about 1,000 times worse.”

Negreanu also stated that the mistake the company made was that “they didn’t hire people to run a company the right way,” going on to say that the company “was led by Idiots,”

While Negreanu was busy lumping Lederer in with Bitar, Barry Greenstein was telling PokerListings.com that Howard was likely unaware of what was going on behind the scenes at the company, pinning the blame on Bitar himself. So, apparently we have quite a discrepancy amongst the top poker players as to what role the high-profile owners of Full Tilt poker had with the company.

The interview also covered Negreanu’s thoughts on US online poker legislation, as well as his recent move to Toronto to continue playing online poker.
