At a recent awards ceremony held in London, England, the popular online gaming magazine, EGR, handed out 18 awards to the top players in the online gaming world. It was Party Poker who took home the most coveted as Poker Operator of the Year.

Party Poker had a very interesting year from settling US lawsuits surrounding wire act violations, to purchasing the World Poker Tour: Moves many industry insiders see as a preemptive strike for Party Poker’s return to the US market. Party Poker also received kudos for fixing technical glitches, updating/upgrading their software, and having an excellent customer support team.

Casino Operator of the Year: 888
