Earlier in the year we brought you news of the record breaking attempt Grand Prix event at Dusk Till Dawn. Well now there are now just five days left until it all starts at the DTD poker rooms in Nottingham. The previous record in this country is 1,068 players, and DTD hope to smash that by having a capacity 1,600 registered players. The Grand Prix earlier in the year sold out in advance with 800 players, and they are confident of doing so again. The first day is this coming Monday 16th May, but do not worry if you are unable to make it then because there are four other day ones to choose from. In total there

are five day ones, Monday through to Friday, and then day two on Saturday and the final day on

Sunday 22nd May. DTD have made this event open to all comers with a buy-in of just €50 + €10 and it has a guaranteed prizepool of €80,000. Each day one event will start at 7pm, so there is no excuse if you have been to work all day and you want to take part, and see 10 x 30 minute levels of No Limit Hold’em. Saturday and Sunday will see the levels increase to 40 minutes, and play will start at the earlier time of 1pm. All the daily satellite events have now finished and the 210 winners from those have had the pick of when they wanted to play. With direct buy-ins in well in excess of 400, and just 36 places left for Day 1E, already the record looks like it will be broken. If you want to register for this record breaking attempt you can only do so by registering online, and DTD are stressing to all players that they will not be able to register on arrival at the club, so if you want to be part of this extravaganza now is the time to act.
