A Look At The 2010 WSOP November Nine

The nine players that consist of the November Nine for the 2010 World Series of Poker are a group that covers all parts of the world when it comes to poker players. November 6th will be the day that the WSOP November 9 will converge on Las Vegas and duel it out to find out who is the best No Limit, Texas Hold’em player in the entire world. The winner of the WSOP Main event will be the winner of just short of $9 million dollars in earnings, not counting the millions available in advertising, sponsorships etc.

In first place going into November is Johnathon Duhamel. Duhamel is looking to become the first Canadian to ever win the WSOP Main Event. Duhamel goes into the November Nine with 65,975,000 worth of playing chips.  All of the WSOP November Nine will walk away from the table with at least $811,000 in prize money. Here is a break down of the November Nine by their seat posistions.

Seat 1:  Jason Senti (7,625,000)
Seat 2:  Joseph Cheong (23,525,000)
Seat 3:  John Dolan (46,250,000)
Seat 4:  Jonathan Duhamel (65,975,000)
Seat 5:  Michael Mizrachi (14,450,000)
Seat 6:  Matthew Jarvis (16,700,000)
Seat 7:  John Racener (19,050,000)
Seat 8:  Filippo Candio (16,400,000)
Seat 9:  Soi Nguyen (9,650,000)

Seat One will be occupied by Jason Sentl of Saint Louis Park, Minnesota.  This 25 year old is a poker pro and this tournament is the first one that he has ever been in the money. He currently sits at the table with 7,625,500 in playing chips.  Joe Cheong of California will be in Seat Two. Cheong won his first WSOP circuit ring this past summer and sits at the table with 23,525,000 in chips.

Bonita Springs, Florida’s own John Dolan is one of the more consistent poker pros at the table. He has cashed in six World Series of Poker tournaments over his career, having doing it in three over the course of 2010. This 24 year old currently is in possession of 46,250,000 in chips.  He will be in Seat Three.

Duhamel will be in Seat Four. Seat Five belongs to Mike Mizrachi. Mizrachi is a well known poker pro has been a consistent winner on the World Series of Poker tour. Mizrachi has 14,500,000 in playing tokens. Seat Six belongs to Surrey, British Columbia’s Matthew Jarvis. This is the first tournament that Jarvis has cashed in and he too looks to be first Canadian winner. Jarvis has 16,700, in chips.

The playing table rounds out with Seat 7 being occupied by John Racener of Port Richey, Florida. Racener is a mainstay on the national circuit and won the circuit Main Event in 2007. He has 19,050,000 in chips.  Italy’s Flippio Candio comes stateside as one of the top players in Europe. He is the first Italian to make it to the final table and will be in Seat 8.  Candio has 16,400,000 in playing chips.  The November 9 table is completed with Soi Nguyen of Santa Ana, California sitting in Seat 9.  Nguyen comes to the final table with 9,650,000 in chips.  It is Duhamel though who will be the talk of the opening night of play as he has a 20 million chip lead on the entire field.
