Alexandre Le Vaillant, a 25-year-old professional poker player from France, won the 2023 UDSO Marrakech Main Event for MAD 625,000 (approximately €57,926). Le Vaillant defeated a field of 600 players to claim the title. His victory is the biggest of his career to date.

Fernando Santa Maria, a 30-year-old professional poker player from Spain, won the 2023 EAPT Barcelona Main Event. Santa Maria defeated a field of 1,200 players to claim the title. His victory is the second of his career on the European Poker Tour.

New Poker Room to Open in Las Vegas

A new poker room is scheduled to open in Las Vegas on November 1, 2023. The new poker room will be located in the Resorts World Las Vegas casino and will feature 10 tables. The poker room will be operated by the World Poker Tour (WPT).

New Poker Tournament Launched

A new poker tournament has been launched called the “WPT Prime Online Series.” The tournament series will feature a variety of events with buy-ins ranging from $100 to $10,000. The tournament series will run from October 16-23, 2023.

Poker Player Makes Comeback After Long Absence
