For a $70 tournament the Main Event of the MiniFTOPS XIX created a very impressive prize-pool of over $3.1 million, as some 45,232 entrants battled it out at the Full Tilt Poker tables on Sunday evening. The eventual winner of the tournament KOMIJENDO finished the tournament almost $400,000 richer after defeating Demon1531 in heads-up play –after a heads-up deal that saw the two remaining basically split the prize-money.

The Main Event was played as a multi-entry event, further demonstrating the incredible impact the innovation has had on Full Tilt Poker’s tournaments –most of which that have been played in the Multi-Entry format have doubled, if not tripled their guaranteed prize-pools.

Here is a look at the prize-money awarded to the final nine players in the MiniFTOPS XIX Main Event:

·    *1st: KOMIJENDO – $396,578.78
·    *2nd: Demon1531 – $360,944.14
·    3rd: manu_litas – $208,971.84
·    4th: TSchmidt – $148,813.28
·    5th: luckbox168 – $104,485.92
·    6th: mar9300 – $75,989.76
·    7th: CapItAt4 – $56,992.32
·    8th: No_id_4_me – $42,110.99
·    9th: TurtlePower17 – $29,762.66

This was by far the most successful running of the MiniFTOPS series on Full Tilt Poker which was created to allow smaller stakes players the opportunity to compete in major tournaments. Although with $3 million prize-pools you also get a slew of top online tournament players willing to enter, and a few made very deep runs in the MiniFTOPS Main Event: Jonathan “FatalError” Aguiar finished in 39th place while Andrew “BalugaWhale” Seidman bowed out in 42nd place.
