PNB Week in Review: DTD’s bold move, poker arms, and more
It’s been a busy in poker with the WSOP.com website launching, the WPT Borgata Poker Open, and the Full Tilt Poker remission process getting started. But these “Main Events” don’t even begin to tell the entire story of the past week in the poker world, a story we will now try to tell in this week’s installment of the PNB Week in Review.
Rob Yong Will Quit DTD if Online Cash-Game Doesn’t Pan Out
The Dusk Till Dawn online poker site (which is part of the iPoker Network) is trying something entirely new in the online poker industry –offering online cash games to players who are members at the brick & mortar Dusk Till Dawn Casino.
The online games will be private, and players must not only be members at the Dusk Till Dawn Poker Club, but must also register with a photo ID. At the tables players will not only see a real picture of their opponent but will also see their real-name and town.
Yong is so sure that the idea will work that he has said he will step-down from his DTD position if the game fails.
Yong discussed this and much more in a recent interview with PokerNews: Exclusive Interview with Rob Yong: “Why I Will Quit Dusk Till Dawn in Six Months”
WCGrider Takes Early Lead in Challenge Match with Sauce123
After 3,806 hands of their 15,000-hand challenge match, Douglas “WCGrider” Polk is off to a commanding lead over Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky. Polk is currently up $394,270 with the duo playing $100/$200 NLHE.
Polk is fast becoming a household name in online poker after being the victim of an elaborate hacking scheme and now taking on Sulsky in a heads-up challenge match. He also created some headlines after some recent comments about Phil Galfond on the 2+2 Pokercast.
How is your Poker Face Arm?
A recent research report that appeared in Psychological Science indicates that a poker player’s arms give away more information than their face, with the caveat that this only applies to experienced players who have learned to control their facial expressions.

PokerStars Suspends Team Pro Player
According to multiple outlets, PokerStars has suspended one of their sponsored Team Pro players, Leo Fernandez. According to Sadonna Price of 4flush.com, Fernandez was letting another banned player use his account at PokerStars.
This isn’t the first time Fernandez has been involved in something controversial, as reports from 2011 claim that Fernandez and poker pro Veronica Dabul were being sued by the Wynn for cheating at craps.
