John Dolan

John Dolan was born in Bonita Springs, Florida. He is now sitting as second chip leader as one of the world famous November Nine at the World Series of Poker Main Event. John has already won prizes over the value of $100k at the WSOP in his lifetime and many consider him a very strong contender to take the title. He started to play poker early in his lifetime with his friends but it quickly evolved into quite a profitable hobby.

Dolan is no stranger to big money play and is reported to have won over a million dollars in poker already. Notable tournament cashes include over 80k for coming 6th in the 1k 2010 WSOP no limit holdem event. He has played a wide range of tournaments and really has proved he is a winning player online and offline.

Dolan is reported to spend a lot of time on the internet with reports showing he has won over 400k on Full Tilt Poker alone. The largest cash online Dolan is reported to have is winning the 1k Monday tournament run by Full Tilt Poker for a cool $94.5k. You can find him online under the username “JRD312”.

It remains to be seen how he will end up doing in the Main event. One thing is for sure though; his ambition to “to win enough money that he only has to play when he wants to” is probably going to be fulfilled considering he is guaranteed at least $811k when he returns back to the Main Event in November. He is an experienced MTT player online and offline and definitely one of the favourites to clinch the prize considering he is sitting in second place on around 45 million chips.
