John Racener

John Racener was born in 1985 in Port Richer, Florida. He has managed to acquire over 1.5 million dollars in live tournaments and lucky enough for him one of his poker ambitions is to win the World Series of Poker Main Event. John started playing professionally in live tournaments when he turned 21 and actually came third in his first live event in Atlantic City which he entered on his birthday. His favourite type of poker game is HORSE which has taught him to be an incredibly talented all round player. John has the reputation to be an extremely aggressive but excellent poker player, he has crushed online and offline games.

Impressive tournament finished include coming eighth in the WPT Borgata Winer Open which landed him over $160k in prize money. Just a few months later he managed to win the WSOP Circuit event in Atlantic City for over $350k prize. Racener is no stranger to the World Series of Poker having cashed 8 times. He also managed to make the 2009 Pot-limit Omaha $5k buy-in final table.

Poker players may not have heard the name John Racener but a lot of internet players will have heard of his aliases. John plays under the names $JMoney$, 5Money5, Spikey and Pocket Five. He has a lot of experience in cash games online as well and can regularly be seen playing on Full Tilt Poker heads up for the largest stakes around.

Racener is considered one of the most experienced players in the November Nine and though he is 5th in chips he still has enough to play with to be a big danger. This will be the biggest final table Racener has ever played in but with all his experience we feel that he should be able to handle the pressure.
