Matthew Jarvis
Matthew Jarvis was born in 1984 in Richman, Canada. Matthew currently doesn’t have any cashes in the World Series of Poker. All that is going to change as Matthew is sitting on 5th position in the WSOP Main Event November Nine and is guaranteed to cash at least $811k for his troubles. Matthew is still studying at college and is a post secondary business student. He learnt poker the old fashioned way by playing with friends and reading the odd poker strategy book. He truly is a poker player that has learnt through trial and error and finally been able to make the big score.
Though he has not had much luck in live tournament play Matthew claims that he plays a lot of his poker online. Sadly we do not know of any significant cashes Matt has had so far in his poker career. Matt has been on television before as his father’s caddy in the Seniors PGA tour.
His dream is to make the WSOP Main Event final table and it has come true. Matt is currently holding around 16,700,000 in chips and although he is not the most skilled player on the poker table though that chip count means he has a decent shot at claiming the title. Jason says that he is going to bring his girlfriend, sister and a few close friends to help him relax when playing at all important final table.
