Tournament Report: WSOPC, UKIPT, and WPT news
The poker tournament schedule is winding down for the year, and attendance seems to be up as players fight for Player of the year awards and to end the year on a good note. From Vancouver, to Florida, to Macau, there is plenty of action, and huge prizes on the line. Here is a glimpse at some of the tournaments taking place around the globe.
John Crcnic wins the WSOPC River Rock Main Event
A huge field showed up for the World Series of Poker Circuit stop in Vancouver at the River Rock Casino, where the first place prize-money swelled to a massive $286,382 thanks to a field of over 1,000 entrants, all ponying-up $1,500 to play in the tournament.
The big winner was a local man named John Crncic, who parlayed a $180 satellite into a $286,382 payday. Here is a look at the complete final table payouts:

WPT Jacksonville BestBet Fall Poker Scramble attracts 477 players
A total of 477 entrants took to the tables at the latest WPT stop in Jacksonville, Florida. The field included some very big names including Daniel Negreanu, Jason Mercier, Dwyte Pilgrim, John Racener, and Tony Dunst to name just a few. As usual the WPT allowed reentries in the tournament, which brought the total prize-pool up over $1.5 million.
45 players will make the money and here is a look at what is on the line for the six players who make the final table:
* 1st place — $402,970
* 2nd place — $236,592
* 3th place — $153,403
* 4th place — $106,848
* 5th place — $77,083
* 6th place — $61,819

Chris Moorman comes up just short at the UKIPT Online Event
A very unique event took place recently where the UKIPT hosted an online tournament that then switched to a live event for the final table. Among the final table participants was one of the best poker players in the world Chris Moorman. Moorman ended up finishing in second place and pocketed over £50,000 in the process.
