Merge Gaming Network now offers MAC download
Online poker players who are using the MAC operating system now have even more options to choose from as the Merge Gaming Network has officially launched a MAC download for all of their poker sites. Merge Gaming joins the likes of PokerStars, UB Poker, Full Tilt Poker and Lock Poker plus other big name poker rooms who have added a fully downloadable version of their software to MAC users.
The fully downloadable version means MAC users will no longer have to play through a Flash program at Merge Gaming sites like Lock Poker and Carbon Poker. The US-friendly poker network has been moving in the right direction all year, and their hard-work was rewarded when it was recently revealed by pokerscout.com –which tracks traffic at all online poker rooms—that the Merge Gaming Network had moved past rivals Cake Poker Network and Everest Poker in terms of cash-game traffic.
Atil Singh, the Head of Acquisition at Carbon Poker told PokerNewsDaily: “Having the ability to offer potential customers a Mac version of our software is quite significant. Numerous studies have shown that Apple’s market share in the U.S. has grown to over 10% in 2010 and will continue to grow rapidly moving forward. Our affiliates can now target an unsaturated market of potential Carbon Poker players. There has never been a better time to be Mac-friendly.”
