With over 30 players returning to the Rio on Monday it seemed destined from the outset that the $1,500 No Limit Holdem tournament would be the next victim of the 10-Level Hard-Stop Rule, and sure enough, with six players remaining tournament officials called a stop to the action. Due to the Hard-Stop Rule, the tournament will now have an additional day added on, with the remaining six players returning to the poker tables on Tuesday to crown the champion.

With 3,157 total entrants, the $1,500 NLHE tournament will award one of the biggest first-place prizes of the entire WSOP, a massive $735,400 payday.

All six remaining players have more than enough ammunition in their chip-stacks to play good poker on Tuesday, and Foster Hays once mammoth chip-lead during the early stages of play on Monday has now been cut to just a few hundred thousand –what was an interesting day on Monday, with a number of big pots and chip-swings, should be followed by another interesting day on Tuesday as the players jockey for their first WSOP bracelet, not to mention the $735k that will go to the winner!

Here is a look at the chip counts of the remaining players:

1. Foster Hays – 3,620,000

2. Casey Kelton – 3,385,000

3. Jeff Lavelle – 2,135,000

4. Robert Koss – 2,015,000

5. Stanley Tavanese – 1,735,000

6. Allen Le – 1,315,000
