Arjel pulls Full Tilt license as precaution
France’s regulatory body for online poker Arjel has decided to follow in the footsteps of the site’s UK regulatory body, the Aldernay Gambling Control Commission (AGCC), and suspend Full Tilt Poker’s license in what Arjel is calling “a precaution”.
Here is a look at the statement issued by Arjel (mind you I had to use Google Translate):
Basically, it seems that the regulatory bodies have decided that until Full Tilt Poker repays their US players the site’s license will remain in limbo, and if the site’s license is in limbo the only way they can repay their players is by an infusion of cash through an outright sale or selling a majority share in the company –as has been rumored.
