Despite over a week having passed since online poker in the US met its match in the form of the US Attorney Office from the Southern District of New York, poker players and poker fans are still finding ways to make me laugh. What started on Black Friday itself with a Tweet from Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond simply asking if “anyone want to buy a slide?” to The Micros putting together a quick episode with Titanic themes in a matter of an hour, has now evolved –or devolved depending on your perspective—into the following 2+2 thread featuring a MS Paint template, and perhaps my favorite Tweet of the week courtesy of the WPT’s “Raw Deal“ host Tony “Bond18” Dunst:

“Blegh, first table has JJprod, at least I’m finally confident the little fuck isn’t multi-accounting anymore.”

So, even though US online poker players have been relegated to playing at poker rooms completely outside of the Top 10 in overall traffic –with Google searches for Bodog Poker referral number going through the roof– and many players still have considerable portions of their bankroll locked up at either PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, or Absolute/UB Poker, there is still room for the typical poker sense of humor to shine through. All is not lost poker world!
