Papola and Wice lead final 15 players in $1,500 NLHE
After a frenetic pace to start Day 2 of the $1,500 No Limit Holdem 6-Max tournament at the 2011 World Series of Poker, virtually all of the notable names amongst the 188 players that began the day had been eliminated. But the two big names that did survive the elimination-fest managed to finish #1 and #2 on the leader-board: Jeffrey Papola and Alexander Wice.
Joining Wice and Papola as the only “name” players left in the tournament is Scottish poker pro David Vamplew, who is hell bent on keeping the UK hot streak intact –With Jake Cody and Matt Perrins already wearing 2011 WSOP bracelets and what looks to be another bracelet ready to go around the wrist of a UK player in the $1k NLHE tournament today.
