PokerStars PCA 2011 schedule released
If you live in a cold northern climate, and are an avid poker player, you may want to book a trip to the Bahamas in early January when the PokerStars PCA tournament series is set to take place. The PCA has grown into one of the largest poker tournaments in the world over the past few years, and is one of the few “MUST” stops for professional poker players.
PokerStars released the full schedule of events for the 2011 PokerStars PCA that includes 47 scheduled tournaments, taking place between January 5th through the 16th, including the Main Event –PokerStars estimates the PCA Main Event will have a $20 million prize-pool; the $25,000 High-Roller tournament; and the most surprising addition to the PCA schedule, a $100,000 buy-in Super-High-Roller tournament –yes, that is One-Hundred-Thousand-Dollars!
Last year saw the Main Event winner pocket a whopping $2.2 million, making the PokerStars PCA the second most lucrative poker tournament in the world –trailing only the World Series of Poker Main Event! It’s no wonder that poker players have the PCA on their short-list of poker tournaments along with the WSOP Europe, The Aussie Millions, and WPT Championship.
For those of you who need to schedule your trip to the Bahamas you can find a complete day-by-day breakdown of the PCA schedule at PokerStars.com.
