Praz Bansi has won another big tournament as he continues his preparation for this years WSOP starting at the end of this month. The event in question this time was the Palm Beach Big Game and with

it came a winners cheque of £32,900, and he also won a

WSOP Package worth $5,000. Nik Persaud also won a WSOP Package worth $5,000 after he took out Gary Oakes. Just two months ago he won the GUKPT event in London, and with this win he has further enhanced his potential as one of the best tournament players in the UK if not in Europe. The Palm Beach Big Game event was attended by some notable names including James Akenhead, who reached the final table at the WSOP main event, and John Duthie who was a founder member of the EPT. Neither managed to make the final table

however, the payouts and finishing positions are listed below. 1st Praz Bansi – £32,900 2nd Dipsy Maker – £18,800 3rd Faud Serhan – £13,160 4th Tom Partridge – £9,400 5th Sunil Mistri – £6,580 6th Chris Kyriacou – £4,700 7th Marinos Mina – £3,760 8th Paul Jackson – £2,820 9th James Mitchell – £1,880 Bansi who started playing poker at work when he downloaded some software on to his PC has now won in the region of $2.3 million in live tournament earnings alone, and the Hit Squad player will be heading to Las Vegas later this month in pursuit of a third WSOP Bracelet.
