The tournament that is been scheduled to take place onboard the huge 5,400 passenger cruise ship has been revealed to be the Ladbrokes Poker Cruise and the tournament will take place in January 2011.

The offering will mean that poker players are not only getting to indulge in poker action but they will do so while travelling between three different destinations across Jamaica, Mexico and Haiti.

The tournament will be held while passengers embark on a seven night voyage, something that will create a whole new level of interest for a number of poker players as well as an increased level of interest from players who are looking to book onto their first cruise, offering everything that a poker player wants on holiday; sun, sea and poker.

Ladbrokes are currently offering their members the opportunity to qualify for the tournament through a number of methods on their online poker site, with a package worth over £4,000 ($6,103.67) up for grabs for as little as $4.40.

The packages that the site offer contain everything from the cost of the cruise, poker bankroll, meals onboard the ship in one of its many restaurants as well as spending money.
