Royal Caribbean to host Poker Cruise
Poker is a game that seems to grow not only in terms of the player base but also in terms of the number of venues that are trying to get in on the action by hosting poker games and tournaments.
The latest news is that Royal Caribbean, a leading cruise company will be looking to hold a live poker cruise onboard the worlds largest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean’s ‘Oasis of the Seas’.
The news that poker players are not only able to play in a live poker tournament but do so within such a venue will definitely alert a huge amount of players, with players looking to increase their poker action experience each and every time that they take to the tables.
The tournament that is been scheduled to take place onboard the huge 5,400 passenger cruise ship has been revealed to be the Ladbrokes Poker Cruise and the tournament will take place in January 2011.
The offering will mean that poker players are not only getting to indulge in poker action but they will do so while travelling between three different destinations across Jamaica, Mexico and Haiti.
The tournament will be held while passengers embark on a seven night voyage, something that will create a whole new level of interest for a number of poker players as well as an increased level of interest from players who are looking to book onto their first cruise, offering everything that a poker player wants on holiday; sun, sea and poker.
Ladbrokes are currently offering their members the opportunity to qualify for the tournament through a number of methods on their online poker site, with a package worth over £4,000 ($6,103.67) up for grabs for as little as $4.40.
