Tournament poker report: Euro Masters, Borgata & more
It was another busy week on the tournament poker trail, and while we were able to provide reports from the biggest tournament taking place, the European Poker Tour stop in Deauville, France, there was plenty of other choices for tournament players across the globe to choose from. Here is our weekly look at some of these other tournaments that you may have missed:
European Master in Prague
The European Master of Poker tournament series was in Prague this past week and at the time of writing the final table was set to get underway. With a first-place prize of just under €60,000 the winner of the tournament will be off to a very good start in 2012.
Here is a look at the chip counts heading into the final table of the tournament:

Borgata Winter Poker Open
After a huge turnout that saw 734 players register for the $3,300 Main Event of the Borgata Winter Poker Open, a star studded final table that included Jeffrey Papola, John Parker, and 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event runner-up Steve Dannenmann battled for the over $500k first-place prize. In the end it was Josh Mancuso who would emerge victorious, besting the accomplished Papola in heads-up play.

ANZPT Schedule released
The PokerStars.net Australia New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT) Season IV schedule was partially revealed last week, with the tour announcing four of the stops that will mark the Season IV schedule. Last Season the ANZPT featured eight stops, so expect more stops ot be announced in the future. Here is a look at the current schedule as it stands:
* March 22-25, 2012 — ANZPT Sydney at The Star Casino: $2,000 + $200 Main Event
* June, 2012 – Event and Location to Be Determined: $2,000 + $200 Main Event
* July 24-29, 2012 — ANZPT Queenstown Snowfest at SKYCITY Queenstown: NZD$2,700+ $300 Main Event
* August 31-September 3, 2012 — ANZPT Melbourne Grand Final at Crown Melbourne: $4,700 + $300 Main Event
WPT Venice kicks-off today
Today also marks the opening day of the World Poker Tour (WPT) Main Event in Venice, a €4,950 NLHE tournament taking place at the Casino Di Venezia, in Venice, Italy, which boasts the title of the oldest casino in the world.
