Keven Stammen’s massive EPT San Remo

The headlines around the poker world last week let us all know that Keven Stammen was the runner-up at the recently concluded EPT San Remo High-Roller tournament, but overlooked in his impressive run that ended at the hands of Benny Spindler was the fact that Stammen also won a side event in San Remo, a €2,100 8-handed Turbo NLHE tournament that saw Stammen add another $120k to his $250k haul in the high-roller tournament.

Final table results for the €10,000 High-Roller tournament:

1. Benny Spindler – $325,736

2. Keven Stammen – $257,499

3. Joel Nordkvist – $126,818

4. Joseph Cheong – $95,403

5. Kent Roed – $74,160

6. Philipp Gruissem – $53,045

7. Igor Kurganov – $42,628

8. Igor Yaroshevskyy – $32,003

Final table results for the €2,100 8-handed Turbo NLHE event:

1. Keven Stammen – $121,137

2. McLean Karr – $67,740

3. Antanas Gueorguiev – $40,618

4. Shannon Shorr – $29,013

Dan Heimiller wins the WSOPC stop in Elizabeth, Indiana

Dan Heimiller is one of the consummate tournament grinders, having been a part of the poker tournament trail since the early 1990’s. In the course of his 20 year poker career Heimiller has won over $3.4 million, and captured a WSOP bracelet back in 2002. But it’s been a long time since Dan won a major tournament, a drought that ended recently when he won the WSOPC stop in Indiana. Heimiller won over $100,000 for the ninth time in his career.
