Through 57 events at the 2011 World Series of Poker the ladies have once again been shut out, unable to win a single open-field event, but as the money bubble burst midway through Day 4 of the World Series of Poker Main Event –the biggest open-field event there is—two females have shot into the top 10 on the leader-board: Team PokerStars Pro and GoDaddy Girl Vanessa Rousso, and Bodog sponsored pro Amanda Musemeci.

Musemeci is one of seven players currently sitting on chip-stacks of 1+ million, while Rousso has a stack of over 900k. Other females still in the hunt include Kristy Gazes and Sandra Naujoks both nursing short-stacks at the moment.

There are still a handful of superstars in the field, including Daniel Negreanu, Ted Forrest, Allen Cunningham, Erick Lindgren, Sorel Mizzi, Freddy Deeb, and Ben Lamb. The lone celebrity in the field, Simpsons creator Sam Simon, also survived the money bubble and currently has a healthy stack of nearly 600k.

One of the two former Main Event winners that started the day also survived the money bubble, as Robert Varkonyi made the money while Phil Hellmuth saw his incredible 2011 WSOP come to a close.

There are also a slew of name pros with big stacks at the moment:

* Sebastian Ruthenberg – 1,200,000

* Amanda Musemeci – 1,130,000

* Ben Lamb – 931,000

* Vanessa Rousso – 900,000

* Mark Newhouse – 790,000

* Lars Bonding – 785,000

* Peter Jetten – 745,000

* Darus Suharto – 715,000

* Matt Stout – 710,000
